Would RecommendThe elastic is not strong when pouring paint into it. Recommend using a durable rubber band so the product doesn’t sink into the canister you are pouring paint into.

Would Recommendfits great on a gallon can- you can wrap the elastic all the way down so the can sits on it. The mesh stayed in place the entire time. I was cleaning up some paint cans after my painters were done for long term storage.
