Would Not RecommendInstaller may not have installed entirely correct, but this Trex decking is not the greatest product. Yes, it may not need to be stained, but it definately warps and cups worse than decking boards. I wish that I had gone with a different decking material. Deck is 2 yrs old.

Damaged boards
Would Not RecommendI ordered 43 Trex 20 ft. grooved boards. I paid to have them delivered. 5 of the boards were obviously damaged, but sent anyway. 3 boards had what appeared to be tire marks. I requested 5 replacement boards. 1 of the 5 replacement boards had a manufacturing defect. I don't understand why Lowe's accepts boards that have obvious flaws leaving the customer to request replacement boards with extra time involving order and delivery for both Lowe's and the customer. Extremely frustrating....

Real Trex
Would RecommendWe had a deck installed 5 years ago. The Trex we bought at the time was grooved on the sides but not underneath. Very heavy. Now I see all the retail Trex is lighter and waffled on bottom. Very glad Lowes was able to get the higher quality decking!
