Would Not RecommendDuring use the trimmer started smoking and smelling of burnt plastic. I quickly took out the battery and left the trimmer a good distance from my house and family due to safety concerns. No help with making this right from Lowes. I'll reach out to Toro. Then maybe I'll need to escalate things more.

Would Not RecommendBought this set just over a year ago now. While using the trimmer a half hour ago, it started smoking and smelling of burning plastic from the head of the string trimmer. I immediately pulled the battery from it and kept it far away from the house due to safety concerns for my family and our house.

Would RecommendVery convenient to have a cordless/gasless product. Not as powerful as I'm used to with a corded product, but it's enough. Battery lasts long enough, but just barely. Not as long as stated. A 2nd battery would be great, but they are expensive. I paid $300 for this combo. It's US made, a reliable brand, so I'm satisfied. If the replacement battery was $75 instead of $150, I would have rated it higher.
