A Good Unit at a Fair Price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After doing research on quality, price and its life-cycle cost/durability, the 22" Toro String Mower (w/ the 163cc Briggs & Stratton Engine) came out on top. The unit started immediately, as advertised, and has worked well in its first month. Our previous string mower lasted for over 30 years and we fully expect that, with proper maintenance, our Toro unit will last for decades also.

Toro walk behind weedeater
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine arrived the next day after ordering online. It was easy to put together. Starts 1st time everytime. Very smooth and easy to push. Goes through tall grass and weeds even when damp. I aim high on grass then progress downward limiting grass from wrapping around the spindle. Really happy with this product ☺️

Disappointing buy
Would Not RecommendI bought this 3-8-22 and in the first two months the transmission failed. The repair was covered by warranty. After winter storage the mower would not run. The fuel float was broken and required more repair. Again the repair was covered by the warranty. I have owned other brand mowers with Briggs&Stratton engines. When it is time to buy again Toro will be a brand at the bottom of the list

Disappointing to say the least.
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a well known brand name only to be disappointed! The belt is discontinued and difficult to access much less change and it slips even with my first use. I’m happy with the engine! Starts on first pull.

After burning out my old traditional push mower, I bought this string mower and am very happy with the results! The mower is both easy to start and maneuver. Lacks replacement parts
Would Not RecommendOne of the two cables used for the on/off assembly broke. I have to turn off my trimmer mower by pulling the spark plug cable with a wrench. I have been advised that the on/off assembly with cable is not available and won't be available. No dealer, or warranty assistant is helpful. Ridiculous.

Powerful effective easy to use tool.
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a powerful trimmer that will cut the thickest grass and takes large size string which decreases the amount of work that you have to do. I am quite happy with it. The only thing I'd improve is not having to use a gas mixture to fuel it. Otherwise, I am happy with the ease of use and the ability to fold down the handles.
