Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is a beast. It takes on everything in its path within reason. My grasses and black berries were up to 3 foot tall. Take your time and it will take them out. I would say that you should check the set screws on the drive pulley to ensure they are tightened. Mine were not and this could most certainly have caused issues. Fortunately I avoided any problems by checking them.

Toro String Trimmer Mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mower works very well even in tall weeds and heavy grass. It has started on the first pull each time, it is well built and easy to use. Changing the Toro brand Nylon Cutter Line is easy, and last longer than we though it would. The unit is lightweight at 71 pounds. Fuel economy is great. We have had no issues with the machine whatsoever.

Made short work of acres of grass
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I help my father in law keep his property so we can go camping each summer. 10+ acres of rough property would take three people all day. With the Toro String mower and 2+ tanks of gas I was able to do the entire property with one other person on a weed eater to trim things up. Surpassed all my expectations!

Makes life easier around the homestead.
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with this machine. Starts on the first pull every time. Easy to maneuver on most surfaces. Only issues are the side deflector is too flexible and get sucked into the string so had to remove it. Secondly the drag guard on the bottom came apart the second time using.

Would be better if self propelled.
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine is great on flat terrain. However, and deviation in topography and it's difficult to manage. It's also very hard to weed eat under the pasture fence line or along ANY fence line for that matter! It eats up the line very quickly.

Starts and runs like a charm
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used my Toro string trimmer 5 times since buying it this Spring and have pulled the starter cord exactly 5 times. Even new, out of the box, it started with one pull. This trimmer is light weight to handle but heavy duty on performance. This is a great machine!!!!

Great machine!
