Would RecommendA functional well built machine that does as advertised. It exceeded my expectations, but has a couple quirks. When using in tall dry grass, the engine cooling air intake tends to become covered with the grass. This could cause engine overheating - Toro should advise customers to watch, periodically brush the grass off the intake. Also, while the Briggs engine starts easily when cold, and runs strong, it is very hard to start again when warm, like when turning off to add fuel.

Powerful and easy to use
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has to use a cane, and this mower is very easy for him to use. We do not have an everyday type of lawn as we live on a farm. It is excellent at cutting heavy weeds around the barn and does a wonderful job cutting the native grasses around our house. Replacing the cutting string is so EASY! That was one reason we chose Toro instead of another well known brand of string mower. It is powerful and really gets the job done.

Handles tall weeds easily

Would RecommendI have one acre of tough grass and weeds it got out of control 2ft in some places. It cut through it all. Had to change the string out a few times ok a lot but it did the job.

Lowes recommended string is wrong
Haven't used it yet, but the .095 string Lowes bundled with the mower was .095 string. Manual says (and is right) that the .115 string is the propoer string. Will update with further review once we've tried it out.
