Better than expected

I have been using these for a while and I have never had a problem occur. I usually light it about 15-30 minutes before expecting guests and I have more wood ready for when they arrive. I use it more as a glorified fire starter in order to avoid messing around with kindling and dryer lint. Instead I grab a single match, let it burn down a bit, and stack on larger logs for a bonfire. Excellent product for entertaining every once and a while.

Fun Timber Tote!

The timber tote made our camp fire fun for all. Easy to light and it burned well for a long time.

Great log for firepit

My husband has used these logs for yrs for our firepit for romantic evenings by our outdoor fire!! Easy to use and burns nicely for a long time.

Okay for what it is

It lasted for the 2 and a half hours it said it would, but was very smokey. Couldn’t get very close to it without smoke getting in your face.

It does exactly what it says it does. We had a nice camp fire in the rain with this. Made a damp night salvageable for us and the kids!!

FirePit Gem!

The Timber Tote logs are great for the FirePit. It usually burns for about 3+ hours. I like the rope handle which makes it easier to carry. The price is right and the log is great!

Not for a campfire

We tried this log because it easy to pack for camping. It is easy to pack but puts off no heat unless you are directly over it. Perfect for a backyard conversation fire but not for camping. No heat and not big enough to cook over.

Burning tire smell

The way this thing burns it does not put out much heat as the fire comes out of the hole in the top. And the log has a lot of sap in it so it produces a tire burning smell and heavy black smoke. But on the plus side it does burn for quite a while.

Easy, Beautiful but Too Expensive

I bought this on sale at Lowe's a couple weeks ago for under $8.00, though now it is sells for about $12. We used it for a beach fire in Nags Head, NC. In retrospect, we should have placed it in a fire pit so we didn't have to dig the residue out of the sand. But, for a one-use item, it's way to expensive everywhere. The lowest price I've seen is at Lowe's, but still, I won't pay more than $8 since it's a one-use item.

Great Night Around the Fire Pit

Let's face it, I hate trying to start a camp fire, let alone maintain it for 3+ hours. This fire log is a gaurenteed awesome night around the fire with my sons. Granted I'm literally burning $12, light a $10 dollar bill and two $1 bills won't last 3+ hours. It's great bonding time around a great product. I've used this fire log multiple times and plan on innumerable more times around the campfire.
