The fragrance is so overpowering that I had to open all the doors and windows in my house to air it out. I will never use this product again. I hope that it does not linger too long. The only thing that took away moldy smell!!
My front load washer smelled musty and moldy after my daughter accidentally left her wet clothes in overnight. I used bleach, baking soda, vinegar… nothing worked to get rid of the smell. And then I tried the Tide Washing Machine Cleaner, and it took the smell out right away!! I will continue to use it the next two weeks like the box says, but I am so impressed with this product! A disaster!
I dumped a package of Tide washing machine cleaner into the tub of my Whirlpool Duet front-loader machine, closed the door, and walked away. I live in Florida where everything can get a musty odor due to the constant high humidity. No longer the same product
I have been using this for years and loved it; however, this new box of packets creates a ridiculous amount of suds that require running the washer several times to wash away the suds. I thought maybe it was just a bad package but every pack I used from this new box created the same result.

Will not buy Tide Tub Clean detergent again!!!
Tide has changed their tub clean formula, either by adding Oxi-Clean to it or some other agent that now creates too many suds. Not sure about other washing machines, but our LG ThinQ does not like a lot of suds. If there are too many suds the washer goes into a suds cleaning mode during tub wash mode, which is an on and off spraying cycle that is continuous and loud (compared to normal tub clean) for 4 hours (torturous) until completed, and then it can complete the actual tub clean cycle. It is a cleaner. There may be other cleaners that are better. I do recommend this product but only on a half recommendation it’s fairly affordable and inexpensive. Not exactly sure how it works.

It works. I have had issues with certain clothing and towel items not getting funky odors out no matter how many times you wash them. So I looked into cleaning the washing machine. I purchased this and then did a load of laundry with the funky smelly items and the smells are gone! Problem solved. The machine needed a good cleaning and Tide did the trick!

My washer manufacturer prefers to use another washing machine cleaner, but I wanted to try this TIDE Washing Machine Cleaner. It seems to have worked ok, but it's in a powder form rather than a tablet like the other one that I use. So I showed what I normally use to wash clothes in my picture but I just tried this washing machine cleaner recently. Maybe it’s just me but I didn’t notice much of a difference.
