Terrible product

This thing only works for 1 minute after warming up and the cartridge doesn’t last but 10 min of use…who would want to pay $20 for every 10 min to use this unit!! I wanted to return but couldn’t find receipt sooo just making more trash!

Works great. Hate the throwaway plastic.

This is very effective, but I use it sparingly because I hate throwing the empty cartridges in the trash. We just don't need more plastic waste, and it would seem that these cartridges could be easily refilled. I'd happily pay for bulk refill liquid and whatever refill apparatus if any is required. From me personally, your revenues would increase (I'd use it much more often) and your company would get some well justified environmental cred.

Good but can leak if on its side

I believe the product does keep mosquitos at bay. However, when you put the repellant dispenser on its side, the fluid can leak out. Was a little disappointed about that considering how expensive the cartridges are

This Stuff Works!

I bought the kit last year and it works great for me. The pack 36 hour refills will last me through next year. If you are using this everyday then the two should last one summer. It sets up a barrier in less than 5 minutes.

Worsening quality

The quality of the refills has diminished since I purchased this product over a year ago. It is still effective, however, in no way does it last as long as they advertise. Recently, it has not lasted half as long. I’m not sure if there has been a change in the solution but it is not what it used to be in duration. The refills are definitely overpriced. In addition, there should be a bottle to refill cartridges with in order to throw away less plastic. Thermacell can do better.

Awful, defective product

I was never even able to use the product, because it is so defective and poorly made. Before I could even use it the first time, it turned on while charging and the entire cartridge was spent in my bedroom. I bought a second refill, and the entire thing leaked all over my bag (which contained only sweaters, nothing hard or sharp that could have broken anything, and I kept it in the original box to ensure no damage). Don’t waste your money - you won’t even be able to use the product.

Useful

You have to be very careful with product. The device must upright at all times. The oil will spill out easily. However, it does last a long time. There is no odor and it works well. You MUST be patient at the beginning. It takes time.

Easy to use and install. I really think these help with the mosquitos. I use one of these and a citronella candle and I get no bites. Just make sure you keep your device charged up for every day use.

Get permission to open package and check first

This refill package was compromised and all of the contents had leaked out. Expensive for useless refill.
