Very solid, simple, and attractive at an excellent price. Nice quality butcher block. It's quite easy to raise and lower, and is well out of the way when it's down. The installation directions are exceptionally clear (requires a drill and a level). I'm using it in a backyard art studio where I need to be very efficient with space. This is probably the best-built product I've purchased so far to equip the studio.
