Would RecommendExactly what I needed. I hated the old covers that never opened far enough to use the upper outlet and had no opening for a cord. This works perfectly. The clear cover makes it easy to see the light on the new GFCI outlet and the opening in the bottom allows the cover to close completely when something is plugged in. It comes with adaptors for different styles of outlets (traditional, designer) or for a traditional switch. About as easy to install as a plain outlet cover.

changing face plate impossible
Would Not RecommendI found it impossible to install the alternate face plate for traditional outlets. I was able to remove the installed rectangular face plate without significant problem but the alternate face plate would not snap in. I returned item.
