Rubber bellows rots out and lets water in
Would Not RecommendAfter a few years the rubber bellows rots out and water can get into the outlet. I don't know how long it has been like this and how much water may have gotten into the wall..
This could happen in cases where extreme conditions exist, due to hotter climate, and longer exposure to direct sunlight.

The slimmest in-use cover
Would RecommendI needed a much slimmer cover over an outlet on my porch, because my porch swing kept banging into the old cover. I tried a similar expandable cover from a different brand and store, but it didn't accommodate anything plugged in while collapsed. I'm glad that I found this, and it seems pretty clear that TayMac is superior in general, at least in non-metallic covers. I'm also glad that this will expand and protect my plugs when I need to power Christmas lights.
