Great Packout Alternative

TLDR: Good stuff, great features, love that its black, can open/close/mount/unmount one handed (decent accessibility), rolling chest handle has some wobble but can easily be removed for transport! (take that Packout), concerns over mounting mechanism durability but not so much it would keep me from buying it again. Glad I purchased

I thought I'd review one of my other StackTech products. I use this product with the Rolling Tool Box and XL Cooler, I really like big storage space that this XL Tool Box provides. With those three boxes, I can fit everything I need with room to spare. I would recommend this product to anyone transporting several tools.

Tough Built is right.

Love that this box can snap on top of another or have other Tough Built components stacked on top of it. The metal plated corners are super sturdy along with the hard plastic. I have this box topped off with a StackTech tool box. The box allows me to pick both up easily with the open hand holes.

There a good product I’ll buy more parts and boxe.

The handle is open. It be more water resistant if it had handles like the boxes.

Quality and Ingenuity!!!

The design team at Toughbuilt really put some thought into the stacktech system. I was going to go with the Ridgid Pro system until I went to my local lowes and played with these kits. The drawer slides are smooth and they hold quite a bit of tools. The boxes are well made also. If you want padded, fitted inserts for the drawers, check out Kaizen Products.

Durable, Heavy, Pricy!

I how durable it seems. Durability comes with a price, this thing is heavy.

Okay for the Price

I am a fan of StackTech but am disappointed here. I love StackTech's look, steel reinforcement at the sides and across the interior, the quick and easy snap stacking, the heavy duty recessed handles, and overall build quality (warranty backed). The extra weight is a trade-off, but not an issue for me. Another trade-off is the extra force needed to open and close the drawers vs other systems. I like it, but it makes them harder to open and close one handed, especially when stacked atop the ro...
