Effective and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used gloves to put the bait into the holes for safety purposes. The product didn’t have a very strong smell but I also did not put it too close to my nose. The packaging was clear and it was easy to understand the directions on how to use. I have seen a decrease in mole activity and I’m hoping my issue with them is gone.

Worm product looks like an actual earthworm, a mol

The product resembles real worms; a mole's natural food source. The worm is very much a likeness to the shape & size of an actual earthworm. Moles eat the worm product...the feeding is thus lethal for them. As always, use gloves to handle the worm (bait) product as to not leave a "human" scent behind on the bait/worm that might ...

Marry the mole

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was so life like. I actually would’ve been confused if I were a mole. Considering they’re blind. It was very helpful for our yard. The packaging is safe enough so your kids don’t get into it and you can’t smell it.

Decent, but not environmentally friendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little difficult to rate without long-term testing. However, seems effective so far. They're easy to place in the ground and come in 5 convenient packages so you can use two at a time without opening all of them. I'm not sure how I feel about the risk of poisoning other wildlife or parts though to be honest. It's a bit concerning. I tried to ensure I get them deep enough that a dog or cat can't get to them.

Awesome stuff

Poor directions

The directions are poor. I just started using this and the directions say nothing about dealing with the plastic that wraps the worms. They are in a little pouch and inside the pouch are two worms encased in plastic. Removing the plastic was too hard so I used them in the plastic. Please advise.

Worm was rejected

I found the worm outside the entrance to the hole about 15-18" from where I inserted it

I bought this because the box says results guaranteed and the mole traps just weren’t working. I have bought 2 boxes now and I still have new mole hills popping up. Pretty disappointed

Moles no longer attracted to grubs

I have used Tomcat Mole killer worms for over 10 years but starting last fall something has changed. Worms placed in active runways lay there uneaten. To me Tomcat has made some sort of change in the chemical composition of the worms that make them no longer desirable to the moles. I know how to use them, how to find active runways and how to lay the grubs down. I can no longer buy this product--it doesn't work.

Melted! Very disappointed!

I have used a lot of Tomcat products and always have their mole worms on my premises. I have stored them in an unheated/no A/C barn for many years, with no problem. I recently purchased 4 boxes of them. All boxes were melted. Very surprised and disappointed. I gave it 2 stars because I’m a frequent user and love the product but not if they’re melted.

Paid a lot of money for 10 worms, but got only one package that wasn’t all melted to the bottom of the package in one clump

Bought thus a while back not sure if worked because of high # of moles this year believe it helped but there are so many moles this year my yard is covered with tunnels

Mole Killer Worms Melt in Package

I live in Texas. The mole killer worms melt in the package, completely useless and an expensive product.

Got the Moles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had moles coming in the yard from my neighbors yard, used the Tomcat mole killer and within 3 weeks and two applications there were no more mole sign. After the first week there was still mole signs, treated again and waited another week, no more new mole signs, it’s been over a month and sill no moles.

Great product!

We tried this out on two holes and it worked!! We put the end of a rake in the hole and shoved it down in the middle of the hole until it stopped and pulled it out and with rubber gloves on we dropped a worm down each hole then lightly covered the top of the hole. Have not seen one since!! I would recommend!
