Would RecommendWe bought three of these. One caught and killed two rats in a week around outdoor compost bin. One (raised bed garden) had peanut butter eaten out of it, but did not deploy. The non-deploying device might have given the rats a false sense of security when approaching the trap near the compost, though. Soaked used trap in a bucket of soapy water and reset the next day. Note: the trap spring is powerful; watch out when setting, releasing.
