Would Not Recommendwas looking for a humane mouse trap (quickly kill) and bought four of these, it caught a mouse but closed before it got far enough in. Mouse was badly injured and left struggling overnight. We had to put it out of it's misery in the morning, unsure how long it was struggling for. Was scary and painful for the poor mouse and sad and traumatic for us to figure out how to kill it on our own. Sticky trap would have probably been more humane because it wouldn't have been in as much pain for so long

Would Not RecommendI have bought this trap several times over the years. They used to be great, as you could easily dispose of the mouse and then reuse the trap. (it used to have a red plastic trigger plate) Now, the trap has the same design as before, but labels itself "single use" and literally breaks after one use, and often before even one use if it gets accidentally triggered. Best mousetrap ever!
The Tomcat press'n'set mousetraps are the easiest to use I've ever tried. Used with the attractant, several times the 1st mouse was caught within minutes of setting the trap. Disposal is also extremely easy. Then I just add more attractant if needed and reset the trap.

Would RecommendI put one of these where I thought it was running along a wall one night and caught nothing. The next night I put a second one where I had seen the poop a couple times. I put it out at 8:30 and by 10:30 it caught and killed the mouse! For those with low ratings on here, I would suggest re-thinking your placement and bait. (I used a tiny bit of peanut butter with an M&M on top). Super easy to put the bait in. It can be a tad finnicky to set, but you just have to do it kind of slow and carefully....

I bought the traps yesterday - they worked overnight. Fast, humane, way to get rid of mice without using poison - which might later kill an owl or hawk. Easy to set & place. Worth every penny.

Would RecommendHave tried everything to trap a mouse in one of our vehicles - bags of repellant scents, sticky pads, and old fashioned spring traps. The mouse was light enough that it could eat all the cheese and peanut butter bait off the latter without tripping the trap. One of our neighbors recommended these Tomcat traps. Got the little pest on the first night of use. More sensitive than the spring trap.

Would Not RecommendI bought these for in our camper as they seemed like a good choice as far as if possibly one of grandkids would accidently set it off they would not get hurt. Issue is I've set them and when I checked them a few days later all the bait was gone and no mouse. Upon further investigation I found that the catch the was supposed to activated by pressing on the black part did not catch the part that was supposed to release the trap. On well, live and learn. Guess you cannot invent a better mouse trap ...

Literally caught our mouse in 30 seconds! GREAT!
Would RecommendWe started putting up some traps, and arguing about the best places to put them. Literally 30 seconds after laying one down and trying to decide where to put the next one, we heard a snap. You guessed it, the mouse was caught! I wish I could make this up, but this is literally too good to be true. This is by far the best purchase I have ever made at Lowe’s! Thank you TOMCAT trap! See photo.
