Weak spring

From the moment I set two of these traps, I told my wife the springs just feel weak compared to the Victor brand. Caught two mice on two different traps, both were smaller mice and snapped them in the neck area. While the spring did hold them in place, neither was strong enough to kill the mice. Great Trap for mice

Awesome product. This is not like the traps in my local stores here in Missouri. These are very different than What I have purchased at my stores. Very nice and affordable and worth the price. 100% right on

Good affordable trap

I bought 8 of these traps and have caught 10 mice so far. They work and work well for the most part and are very affordable! I've read reviews of people complaining about how hard they are to set, just USE YOUR BRAIN! They are not difficult to set and if they keep accidentally going off it's because you're using too much bait, about a pea sized amount of peanut butter or less is all you need. Worked for me

As with any kind of trap or bait, the rodent will become risk averse. You have to keep switching it up to confuse them. These have worked with me in combination with glue traps and of course blocking access to holes, which is the best way.

Not impressed

your trap has an engineering defect. the bait holder is too wide and too long. I watched a mouse trip the trap whiteout being in the kill zone. Two nights I watched this happen. Smart mouse.

Junk

Just bought these, DO NOT BUY! The pin isn’t long enough to hold the bait plate that has no ledge.

Worthless

Don't waste your money. Not worth a single star, but 0 isnt an option and no one reads 1 star reviews. I bought a pack of two. I know where the mouse comes out of the wall, I've seen it. First time the mouse dragged the trap under the stove where it went off. Taped trap to the floor. 3 activations, all failed. The forth time the trap broke. Mouse 5, tomcat traps 0

Total junk. Mice are just getting bigger eating the bait and not triggering the snap. Will not buy this brand again!

Best trap I've used

Best mouse traps I've used. Easy to set and the get the mouse every time. I've been using the same trap for years and still works great. I've probably caught 50 mice with it.

Unneeded “innovation” and “improvement”

The distances between the trigger, pin, and anchor points are too far away to get the trap to set. Bending the anchor points, etc., doesn’t fix it because the pin isn’t even long enough. Plus, it’s not my job. These should work out of the pack. Frustratingly worthless. Doesn’t work.

Catches mice. Doesn't kill them

It doesn't kill mice. It had one by the leg and the mouse was biting itself free when I found and released it outside. Another had one by the midsection and it was still moving. The springs are too weak to even damage a paper straw when I tested the traps afterwards.

Didn’t hold cheap wood worked great until it didnt

Worked great until the metal parts securing it to the would became loose and wood not tighten and eventually show them under the sink where they can not be removed from.

Biggest junk I have ever bought.

I can't even get it set because the pin won't stay under the yellow, it just slides out. You guys know it's junk. Just look at the feedback. You have more 1 star's than anything else and you got the 1 star only because we had to. . How can you keep selling this crap and ripping people off.

Poor Design!!

Bought them today because thats all that Meiers carries. Horrible design!! The actuating rod does not stay put under the bait station on the trap. Would not buy again

Garbage Traps

Garbage traps. Bought these because they were out of the basic Victor brand wood traps. Should not take 12 tries to set a trap without it snapping. Will never buy tomcat brand anything again.
