For the price, I thought the attracting scent was included. Got no mice in these.

Doesn't work

I purchased 5 boxes of these for 10 traps total. I set them out for days, continuing to have mice problems, so I kept buying more. This morning, I looked to see why nothing was caught in any traps. Out of the 10 traps, I was only able to set one of them off. I tapped, prodded, poked, and pushed, and I couldn't make the traps "catch". Ridiculous. Very expensive, AND does not work. Works

The mouse is no longer with us. Just make sure you bait it.

Easy set mouse trap.

Ease of use. These unit were very easy to set. We have not caught a mouse in it yet, but it has been set and ready for use. Super clean setup so no touching the inside pieces.

Caught a mouse and it fell out of the trap when moved. It should come with bait for the price of it.

Works around pets

Trap is easy to use and caught mouse. Have dogs, need to make sure poisoned dead mouse stays in trap.

Mice either too smart or too stupid for this.

Bought and baited as directed with peanut butter. Set at known site of mouse feeding. Mice were either too smart or too dumb. Found feces all around the trap, but trap was unsprung and bait untouched. Not satisfied.

Poor excuse for a trap

Not sure about other Tomcat products, but the Kill and Contain Mouse Trap did not work. It caught a mouse (overnight), but by morning the mouse had chewed through the trap and escaped. Did not Kill or Contain. Do not buy this particular product. It should be metal, not cheap plastic.

Haven’t caught any mice with this trap and we’ve used it for about a week, nice to not be able to see if we go and externally know when the trap goes off

trap didn't work

Purchased 2 packages, 4 traps. set all 4 as per instructions. 2 traps remain set and un-touched. the other 2, the bait was eaten and looks like the rodent ate at the trap since shavings were around. trap remained set and rodent not caught.

Ineffective – Bait Disappears, But No Mice Caught

I’ve had this mousetrap for 10 days now. Every night, I place gel bait from the same brand, only to find it completely gone in the morning—yet the trap remains empty. It seems the mice are enjoying the bait without getting caught. Disappointing performance.

A Complete Waste of Money

Used both traps for days, never caught a single mouse. Bought the old fashioned 2-packs of mouse traps and caught 8 mice in 2 days. There's a reason the old fashioned traps are still around; they work and they're not toxic.

Bought there years ago and they worked great. Not buying now as redesign must have been bad. All these reviews and videos of the traps not working. I smell a class action incoming. Getting something else.
