Vinegar and soapy water works better.
Would Not RecommendWe did a side by side experiment with two sets of Fruit Fly Indoor Insect Trap (2-Pack) for a total of 4 traps against vinegar and soapy water. Unfortunately the consistent winner was the vinegar with soapy water. The other downfall is, there are no refill's for the insect trap, the liquid dries up in a few days. And then what, go out and buy more traps every few days? That gets very expensive very quickly.

Liquid in trap evaporates quickly
Would RecommendThis definitely works, but it does not last 45 or 90 days. I had a pretty bad infestation and it took about 2 days before I saw any of them sitting on the apples. I split the liquid into the 2 apples and in about 2 weeks, the liquid had evaporated. I want to buy just the liquid, but I can't find it anywhere and I don't want to have to buy 2 new traps.
