Super sturdy and super dusting.

I was a little skeptical trying this product the first time around because I haven’t had much luck with Swiffer products in the past. This one however, worked fantastic for my hard to reach high ceilings! The pole is sturdy and the duster itself lasts a good while before having to change.

Design is flawed. Pole does not lock

Effective

This is a light-weight duster, so it can feel a bit flimsy. The length helps get those high ceiling cobwebs and ceiling fan dust off though. I would consider it generally effective, but would prefer a more sturdy wand.

Reaches high areas easily !

Got the Swiffer Duster with the 6 ft extender and wow—it actually makes dusting high spots way less of a hassle. The handle reaches my ceiling fans and tall shelves without me climbing on anything, and the duster still grabs dust like a champ. The head swivels so I can get blinds and corners easily. Only thing is, you gotta make sure the pole is locked tight or it might slide a bit, but overall, this thing is a game-changer for reaching everywhere without a ladder.

Very efficient

The swiffer duster come in very handy. I’ve been using around the house and it cleans very well. It makes it easy to get to the hard to reach spots.I’v had for a awhile and it’s still good as new.

The extension pole cannot be locked

As s have pointed out, there is no way to lock the pole, so it keeps collapsing. I already started using it and tossed the receipt because I love all other Swiffer products and was sure this was going to work fine, like the rest of the products I own.

Won't stay extended, frustrating

This is exactly what we were looking for, but the inablility to lock the handle sections when extended make it very frustrating to use. Even slight pressure against the head makes one or more of the sections collapse when trying to dust hard-to-reach surfaces. It doesn't even need to literally lock, but the friction that keeps the sections in place when extended should be stronger. Or even a twist lock design would be an improvement. Disappointed.

Throw away when very dusty

Great way to dust both high and low furniture, fans, ledges.

It works very well for removing dust from multiple types .The longer handle really helps to dust areas I couldn’t reach before like ceiling fans, and my blinds, which are up high.

Collapses

I am disappointed. It collapses on itself because it doesn't have pegs to hold the extension in place like your other extendable version.
