Top of edging where you put the connectors to splice sections is not large and round enough, making it difficult to insert the pipes that enable splicing sections. In addition, the lip at the bottom is not wide enough to insert spikes that help hold it to the ground. A wider lip would also make the edging more rigid.

Much thinner than last time I purchased, not happy
Would Not RecommendLast time I bought this same product I was happy, this year the plastic is MUCH thinner and I am NOT happy. Last roll I purchased I needed a sharp carpet knife to cut it, this roll I could cut it with a scissors. The roll was also crimped everywhere along the top and would not form a smooth arch (really looks bad). Why did they ruin a perfectly good product just to save pennies on plastic? Not a happy customer.
