Battery in button not replaceable.
Would Not Recommendwe've had this doorbell set for just about a year. We just replaced the 3 C batteries in the doorbell unit. Now the button doesn't work in the same place it worked before. Can't find a way to replace the battery in the button. A new button is $18. Would be better if the battery was replaceable in the button.
Outside doorbell lasts maybe a year.

Built To Break Easily During Battery Replacement
The tab holding the cover on the doorbell (which needs to be removed to access the battery) is very fragile. Especially in cold weather, any attempt to remove the cover may result in breaking this tab. The pricepoint of this item should be much lower for this reason, or the quality improved.

not worth the money
Would Not RecommendI bought this item not 2 full months ago and already has died. I put new battery in it prior to installing and it worked for only a week or so. Put in another new battery thinking i might have had a bad battery, but still does not work. Very disappointing.
