Would Not RecommendPurchased this product the other day. After mounting the bracket to the wall I placed the hook on the bracket. Started to tighten the set screw and it ran all the way through the hook body. Further investigation led to the mounting bracket being approx. a 1/2 in. too short. I probably would have recommended this product because it was visually pleasing but it was unusable. I would have to say Manufacturer defect.

Seems strong but is very light
Would RecommendI bought this to replace a Command hook, as we have found that Command hooks fall off the wall after about a year, destroying the wall in the process. So I hung this one on the back of a hollow-core door. My robe is VERY heavy, but this robe hook seems more than strong enough to hold it. It does seem to be made of lightweight materials. Time will tell.
