Cover didn't protect and they won't replace it

The table looks really nice but the cover did not protect from the water and the top got damaged. I contacted customer support and they told me there is nothing they can do about it because the warranty doesn't cover water damage - even if the problem was the cover provided with the purchase was the culprit for it.

Damaged Product

Product had damage everywhere on it. The weird thing was the box was undamaged. Almost like the damage came from the factory and they didn't care. 2 days after purchasing this unit it has rust all over the top metal cover. Terrible product.
