What Customers Are Saying
This hummingbird feeder has an attractive glass design and a perch that allows birds to feed comfortably. However, it frequently leaks and loses nectar, regardless of how it is assembled. Some customers also report quality issues like rusting and peeling paint. While the feeder seems functional for hummingbirds, the construction problems make it a frustrating product for many users.

Poorly Constructed
Would Not RecommendI liked the design of this feeder but it is poorly made. The feeder has a plastic piece over the bottom of the glass that fits into the feeder stand. This plastic piece is not secured to the glass with anything and after placing liquid in the feeder the bottom stand fell off. It twists onto the plastic piece but it won't stay on the feeder. I had to return it as I don't feel I should have to be responsible for fixing this to anchor onto the feeder for the birds to feed. It wasn't a cheap item.

Thoroughly check the hummingbird feeders.
Would Not RecommendI guess someone that unpacked the feeder accidentally sliced the black bottom plastic with a razor and I am planning on returning it for a refund. That will make 3 feeders that I purchased from Lowe's. I returned the first two because they kept leaking; no matter how we tightened them. This obviously had a razor cut on the black plastic bottom.

no bee proof
This is not bee proof, nor do the bee guards I have from my previous feeder fit over the openings inside. I have dozens of bees feeding on it and that is not good. The seal did not appear to leak, but bees were hanging on and drinking underneath leading me to believe it does. I will have to return if it is not too late and I can find the receipt. Otherwise I will either trash or give away, do not want my deck full of bees.
Terrific Hummingbird Feeder
I like that the Hummingbirds love it. That makes me happy.

Horrible
Would Not RecommendI've had two of these feeders all season and can't wait for the season to end so I can throw them out. They rust terribly and have to be scrubbed every week to get the rust out, they leak and it's difficult to connect the bottom as it becomes seperated easily as you screw it onto the glass top. I would never buy again, cheap plastic from Big Lots work better. I've had many hummingbird feeders and never had a problem like this. I'm sure the rust isn't healthy for these birds.

Exceptionally Built Hummingbird Feeder
Would RecommendIt's sturdiness and functionality. It is well-built, the hummingbirds love it, and it is an attractive addition to our back porch. It hangs easily, doesn't leak like some of the previous plastic ones we used, and it is easy to fill.

Bad Hummingbird Feeder
Would Not RecommendWe purchased this only two weeks ago (July 5) and began using it immediately. We liked it's looks, and the hummingbirds liked it too. HOWEVER today, while cleaning it, we noticed there were spots of rust developing on the inside of the metal portion. Sources tell me it can be harmful, if not deadly, for the hummingbirds to ingest rust, Very disappointed to see rust after only two weeks! We are returning this feeder today. Will not buy a feeder again that can rust.
