Would Not RecommendUnfortunately the bottom does not screw off for cleaning, which can lead to interior mold that can kill Hummingbirds. DO NOT recommend at all!

Broke the first time 😞
I was really looking forward to using this hummingbird feeder, it was exactly what I was looking for. But unfortunately the base broke off the first time I used it. I can't even reuse the base part because the neck of the bottle is still screwed into it. Very disappointed 😞

Hummers attracted right away
Would RecommendThis is the 2nd of these I've bought. The hummers have been chasing each other away to protect "their" feeder so I got another to separate them. One thing I did to both feeders was to bend some wires and hot glue them on the feeders to create stands - the hummers enjoy perching on them and casually sipping.

Would RecommendHumming birds started visiting it shortly after putting it up (I just filled it with a mix of clear water and sugar). I wish it had stands for the birds - easier on them and easier to watch them. I can clean the glass section but haven't figured out how to empty/clean the red plastic bottom (I shake it a lot to try to get the water/sugar mix out but can't really give it a good cleaning.
