Would RecommendThis holds a lot of seed, which is a good thing. The birds tell their birdy friends to come on over to the party and they fjnish all six pounds in one day. Even the squirrels and chipmunks get some. The birds say five stars, so five stars it is!

Would Not RecommendI liked this feeder until the perches were chewed or pecked off by larger birds or squirrels. For the price, guess it's ok - you can buy several because you may have to replace them often.

Spills out on the ground
The feeder is large and the clear panels let you see how much food is in the feeder. But the design lets food keep dropping off the tray onto the ground. I had to put a large tray on the ground to catch the feed.

this is a tough bird feeder! We have trouble with bears, and they usually tear up a feeder. I had this one for a couple weeks or so, and yesterday morning I look out and THE FEEDER WAS GONE! I looked and there it lay down towards the creek, still in 1 piece. I picked it up, and the was a scratch on the clear plastic, but didn't break. I can't say it's bear proof, but it's pretty close. A tough feeder
