Would RecommendThis is a nice sturdy hook that can handle a variety of bird feeders or flower pots. If it wasn't rusting I would have given it 5 stars. Unfortunately I now have a rust stain on my white vinyl railing. I would recommend if you take precautions about the rust issue.

Purchased some rail hooks that extended beyond the deck and wanted to add more. This is the only option we could find. The tabs are too long for a standard rail top and had to add screws through the top to insure support. Purchased these to hand hummingbird feeders and works well for that. Not sure how they would do with a heavy potted plant.
