Would RecommendWe have two of these feeders in the living room window and have created what appears to be a bird sanctuary around the feeders where they frolic and dance for us to watch, mostly in the late afternoons and mornings. I purchased this one as a replacement for the same one that lasted a few years. Not sure if this is due to quality of the product or just wear and tear but the cost is reasonable and I could easily justify purchasing a replacement. The birds enjoy feeding and we enjoy watching.

Perfect Gift
Would RecommendI have been giving this feeder to my elderly friends for years. Now that Lowe's has it at such an affordable price, I give it as a gift to anyone who even mentions birds (and feeders, of course). When I have seen it at my friends' houses (I haven't gotten myself one, yet), it also seems to be the perfect location for a feeder to keep squirrels and chipmunks away from the seed/feed!

Would Not RecommendUsing it but disappointed as it was broken when I removed it from the box. The perch rod came loose. It is only glued on. No hole in the side walls to hold it better. Other comment is that the roof does not extend past the birdseed holder so rain is not blocked.
