Do not install if you don't have a volt meter
Written instructions say Bare/Green wire goes to white, other wire goes to black. Online instructions say smooth wire goes to black and ribbed wire goes to white. There was NO difference between the wires. Both black, both smooth. We have done a lot of wiring in houses so had a volt meter to figure out how to connect the wires. Happy the way the finished product looks but instructions are inaccurate and could cause safety issues.

Would RecommendWorked perfectly for pendants above my kitchen island. One thing to note is you can only modify the length of the "cord" by multiples of 6 inches, so there are two 12inch sections and two 6inch sections. You can use them in any combination, but the length will be either 6, 12, 18, 24, etc inches...
