Ratings & Reviews for Style Selections Black Wood Frame Rocking Chair with Slat Seat
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the chairs' attractive appearance and straightforward assembly, often completing setup in under ten minutes. However, significant concerns emerge around durability, with many reporting paint cracking, peeling, wood splitting, and premature deterioration within a year. Comfort is another major disappointment—reviewers consistently note inadequate seating support and insufficient recline. While the visual design appeals to many, the gap between aesthetic appeal and long-term performance leaves a substantial portion of users dissatisfied with overall value.

Would RecommendBeautiful and easy toput together, but. It is very hardto rock and to tallfor average woman more for a man
broken slats
Would Not Recommendwe've used these for less than 6 months and we already have a broken slat in the seat.
Looks and feels like plastic.
Would Not RecommendChairs are uncomfortable and look and feel cheap. Would not recommend.
It serves its purpose
Would Not RecommendI appreciated the pieces being easy to assemble and the directions followed were just the same. However the finishing nails on the seat were not driven into the frame. Some of them were bent and loose, making that piece/section lift up and fall off. I was able to place more finishing nails in. Not a bad product for the price but would’ve appreciated a little more attention to detail.

Rocking chair
Would RecommendI was looking for a natural color rocking chair for my front porch.
Beautiful, sturdy, easy to assemble!
Would RecommendWe liked it a lot! My husband was able to put the 2 rockers together with no "tools" quickly. He only used a Allen wrench, which was provided (and he's not a builder or one who use lots of tools.) They're very comfortable, though they're a bit "high." I'm 5'4" and my feet don't quite touch the ground.)
Poor Quality Materials
Would Not Recommendthe wood these are constructed of is poor quality. It started cracking in less than a year. they are wobbly. I don't recommend them.

Poor quality
Would Not RecommendI recently purchased this black rocking chair and put it together, however 2 days after it being outside in the cold elements (snow and ice) the paint cracked all over. I do not recommend. Returned to lowe’s.
