Ratings & Reviews for Style Selections 50-lb Black Resin Plastic Patio Umbrella Base
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The umbrella stand is described as sturdy and heavy-duty, with useful features like wheels that help with mobility and stability in windy conditions. However, some customers reported issues with the stand breaking, the umbrella not staying securely in place, and the overall quality not matching the price. While many were satisfied, the negative experiences of a sizable number of customers suggest this may not be a consistently reliable option.

Broke in Half
Would Not RecommendWe purchased this 12 days ago and yesterday it broke in half. No winds, no rain, nothing that we could find that caused the item to break in half. We liked the wheels on it, and it was heavy, but the defect isn't worth the purchase.

Heavy, movable umbrella stand on locking wheels
Would RecommendIt's heavy to move alone without the wheels. Easy to put together and once on wheels....easy to move.

Doesn’t stabilize pole
Would Not RecommendI like the look of the stand compared to my other one but if it were a hassle to return I would’ve. In short, it needs two screws to stabilize the pole, as another review were mentioned. Additionally, it doesn’t stabilize a 1.5 inch pole that is sold directly next to it in the store. Unless I missed a piece in the box, the plastic ring that comes with it comes off as soon as the pull and it simply does not stay stable. Would not recommend.

Great Rolling Umbrella Base
Would RecommendThe base weighs 50 lbs. and supports the umbrella in the wind, unlike the lighter varieties.

awful assembly
Would Not Recommendthe screws are cheap and strip as soon as you try to tighten down the wheels. absolute garbage. the stand itself is solid but if you can't get the wheels tightened down it's useless. Lowe's should be product testing and not be selling this crap to their customers
Durable and easy to move with wheels.
Would RecommendIt is heavy and sturdy with wheels for easy movement. This allows a medium-sized umbrella to be moved around a deck or patio as needed for coverage, and the wheels can be securely locked to keep it in place. I would highly recommend it.
