Poor quality
Would Not RecommendThese brackets swing sideways. I've used shelf brackets before, and never had this problem. Is probably A problem with the holder. Wish I had spent a little more and bought the holder and brackets that have double hooks. Only after putting the shelf on these brackets and then a little weight did they stop swinging sideways.

Would RecommendThis is sturdy piece that holds the brackets for shelving. I think it should come with screws, however.
Simple Inexpensive Shelving
Would RecommendI use these standards with matching 8" brackets for simple shelving systems where heavy weight load is not a factor. The brackets need a little nudging to slip into the standards, but once in they are fine. I expect I can find a better quality product for more $$$, but I am satisfied and I will continue to purchase this product for similar projects.
