for ten 36 in by 12 in deep shelving boards, I purchased 10 of these only as middle support brackets but they allow you to secure a screw through them to the board too. The length of these brackets was not the issue (approx 10 in brackets but will work for 12 in deep shelf). Also these are the "double slit" if you will. meaning they have double hooks for the two slits of a track system. For the ends of the shelves I used "single slit" 12 in brackets. THE DIFFERENT BRACKETS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WIT...

Works but watch for bent ones
Would RecommendThey work fine BUT...out of the 24 I bought for 2 separate projects, two were incorrectly manufactured (bent) and unusable. Had to return one and discovered the other while I was checking out at the register. An 8% defect rate is absurd--Lowe's, you really need to work on your quality control.

UPC stickers difficult to remove
Would RecommendThe brackets were as expected with the exception of the sticker affixed to it. Use of adhesive remover dulled the finish. It required soaking in soapy water and a lot of scrubbing. After all of that, the outline of the sticker is still faintly visible. Removing stickers from 40 brackets was very tedious.
