Would RecommendWe recently replaced wall-to-wall carpet with wood plank flooring and put area rugs on top to protect the new wood from our puppy's nails. But the area rugs slid pretty badly, so we got this product. It works very well to prevent sliding. It was easy to measure and cut. It can't be seen under the rugs. Now our puppy can run and jump without throwing the area rugs around. Problem solved.

Would RecommendNeeded an octagonal pad so had to cut and tape together from a rectangular piece. After that, it worked well. Rug is firmly adhering to a tile floor.

Would RecommendDoes as advertised and is size advertised which means you will probably need to cut it down as a lot of 8 x 10 foot carpets are just a tad under 8 x 10. It does really help keep the carpet in place.
