Would RecommendThis was a good mailbox for the money but you might need to do some work on it to make the doors close. Also, the 4x4 you need, you better ensure that it is not an 8-foot long one unless you're going to cut it yourself or dig half-way to the center of the earth. Six feet seems optimal because you can really dig deep and make it firm enough to not use concrete. Also, if it post is 8-foot long Lowe's will not cut it.
