Would RecommendGreetings, I ordered a six foot threaded rod. I did receive the rod but it was not straight as I expected, it had an almost 90 degree bend. All I can think is the bend was made so the rod would fit in the delivery vehicle. That’s my guess. Not the leval of quality I would expect from Lowes.

Would RecommendAs advertised, it’s 3 feet of soft iron. Definitely 8-32 threads. Didn’t run a test nut the full length but was fine at both ends. Plating looks good, ask me in a year if it is adequate. You should not expect that it will have the strength of grade 8 steel but it is good enough for light loads
