freezing prepped ingredients

I use these to store cut up celery in the freezer. I never use a whole thing of celery before it goes bad. So when I buy one, I chop the whole thing and put two stalks (chopped) into each bag and put them in the freezer for future use. Most of my recipes that call for celery call for 2 stalks. Pre-prepped, handy, and no more wasted celery! I also use one of these to freeze fresh ginger to have on hand. I peel it before I freeze it and then it is easy to mince up when I need it.

Love the color options and size availability. We use them everyday and love them. Only negative is that I feel like it makes the food taste a little different.

Apples don’t turn brown!!!!

And btw, for apples with a little squirt of lemon juice and the stashers keep them discolored (NO BROWN). My son my finally takes peeled apples to school now!!! The stashers are really great quality!

We'll never use another reusable

We absolutely love our stasher bags! At first my husband was skeptical, but he just recently suggested we get some more of the sandwich sized stashers because we're using them all the time and he likes them so much! We use them to store cut veggies and fruit, to store leftovers, and the kids love to take them to school because they are easy to open and close. Impressed!

I've been wanting to purchase reusable bags for a while. My only hesitation was whether they would be easy to clean because, in my experience, some reusable items are just too laborious to clean/dry. However, I am super impressed with how easy they are to hand wash and how they fit in the dishwasher. I was concerned they would take a long time to air dry, but they dried very quickly in my regular dish rack.

Quality has declined significantly

Wow, the quality of stashers has declined drastically since I last purchased. They used to be a thick silicone that held its shape and felt very sturdy. Now the bag is noticeably thinner, feels flimsy, and just doesn’t seem to be as good quality. At this price point, I do not believe they are work it.

I really like how Stasher

I really like how Stasher updated the lip of the seal to have an arch to open it with a better grip. The color is great, matched the picture on the website. It seals tight, is easy to clean, and I’m so excited to add it to my growing stash.

Love 'em!

We use these bags for all sorts of items. Mostly kid snacks, art supplies, and "treasures". Little hands are able to open them and zip them closed which helps with our kids' independence in staying organized.
