Would RecommendThis is a very sturdy tray that will definitely enhance the safety for my 99 yr old mother. It is very easy to build and install by one able-bodied person. I only wish it could extend forward a little more. The vertical bar blocks her lift chair's arm rest when she fully extends the chair upwards to get out. To avoid this, I needed to place front of the tray stand slightly further away sideways from the lift chair. It is still under the front chair leg, but not quite as close to the base's ...

Would RecommendBought one for my senior Dad, now everyone else in the family now wants one of these trays. Sturdy, easy to put together, and looks nice. That handle is a great help because I knew dad would be grabbing the tray to stand up and sit down. Even though the advertisement pictures show a specific kind of armchair, we were able to find a video online that showed how to use it with a recliner. It worked out great.
