Dangerous Device
Would Not RecommendI received this and thought it might be useful to getting in and out of chairs. I find the product to be unstable with a wide movement at the base hat makes one hesitant to grab on to it, plus the handle has sharp plastic edges that could cause a cut in delicate senior hands. Also the height of the device is too high to assist in getting in and out of a chair.

Quick & Easy assembly
Would RecommendIt's been 2 weeks since I assembled & have been using the couch cane. I resisted the idea of using it when it arrived because I could not imagine it being durable enough to handle the multiple daily use. However, once out of the package the heft & the construction of the couch cane were beyond my initial thought of plastic. It works Great! I'm grateful to get over my own stubbornness and use it.
