Right tool for the job
Would RecommendBought this to drill a hole in stainless steel. It did it! And well! The pilot was more difficult than the main hole.

Would RecommendFirst Time User. Gotta say I am a fan Love the rapid eject I have my own hole saw kit but I knew I was drilling 24 3 in holes for the wife's new lights for deck I built for us. and wanted to start off with a new bit. cut 23 no problem pilot bit broke on 24th hole halfway had to wing it with a hammer and chisel the rest took me 2 hours to drill 24 3 in holes in solid 4 in wide true two in thick wood and 3/4 ply. I highly recommend.

Heavy Duty
Would RecommendI used this hole saw so far to cut through 2x8 trailer flooring and found it very sharp and effective. The depth is good too - you can get through more than 1 1.5" thick board with room to spare. Not so easy to remove the wood plug from, but I've struggled with every hole saw I've owned in this respect.
