What Customers Are Saying
The diamond-tipped hole saw bit provides mixed performance. Some users report excellent cutting ability and durability, especially when drilling through softer materials like tile and glass. However, many others experienced the bit wearing out quickly, particularly when used on harder surfaces like granite and porcelain. Proper use with water cooling and lubrication can help extend the bit's lifespan, but overall quality and consistency seem inconsistent.

Works but took over 15 hours to drill a hole. Best to add water to hole so drill doesn’t over heat
It didn't hold up.
Would Not RecommendIt did not hold up to the task of drilling a hole in my porcelain tile. I went through two of them, for one tiny hole.
Dull within seconds
Would Not RecommendUsed to drill a hole in stone. Started slow and used water, within seconds all the 'diamond edge' was gone. Down to metal. Completely useless.
Horrible
Would Not RecommendNeeded this bit to drill 3 holes in porcelain tile. It did not complete the first hole. Do not buy this.
A little water helps.
Would RecommendUsed this hole saw to drill a hole in the middle of a paver block. It worked flawless! Even though it’s shallow, you can easily break out the piece to drill from one side.
Great for granite
Would RecommendWorked like a charm. Cut right through the granite. Be sure to follow directions.
Cheap metal bent when it warmed - unusable 1 min.
Would Not RecommendEven running water over it the whole time the shaft heated up and bent, causing the whole saw to wobble like crazy and become unable
Totally Dissatisfied
Would Not RecommendNeeds a Drill Bit in the center
Would Not RecommendWith out realizing there is no drill bit in the center to start the hole and keep the bit stable, so the tool will slip and scratch the surface. Could not use, waste of money!
I used 3 bits for four 1" holes in stone.
Would Recommendcut gently. It did what I needed it to do. Cut about two 3/4" holes each bit.
Broke quickly
Would Not RecommendShort Lasting. Drilled single hole through brick and cinder block into home. Took approximately 1.5 hours. Used water every 10 seconds of drilling to keep bit and surface wet. Chuck bent within the first few minutes of drilling. Liked chuck size because it could fit on my extender. Wished it was made with stiffer metal and/or larger connection with the hole saw so it would have lasted more than just a single hole.
lowes sucks
Would Not Recommendowes prices are double what I can buy this for online.

Am I using this right? It’s awful!
Would Not RecommendCouldn’t finish a single hole. “Diamonds” on tip came off within the first 10 seconds of use. Started my project using a standard “paddle” type diamond tip bit and got 6 of 9 holes done. This was the only in stock option and it was awful. Went to another store and bought the paddle tip to finish my project.

Only lasted 2 holes
Would Not RecommendI got the 1/4" bit to mount paper towel holders on a porcelain wall. It did ok at first, I went slow and used water to keep the bit cool. The coating came off and was useless after that.
