What Customers Are Saying
The Spyder Scrapers are effective for removing various flooring materials like linoleum, carpet, and tile adhesive, but may not be suitable for heavy-duty jobs. Many customers found them to be a time-saver, though some reported issues with the blades breaking or bending easily, especially when used for tougher tasks like removing tile mortar or concrete adhesive. Customers recommend using caution, keeping the saw at the proper angle, and not forcing the blades to avoid breakage.

Great tool!
Would RecommendWe have used this tool a lot while renovating our house.
This is 100% worth the money
Would RecommendI needed to take up vinyl tile in bathroom and kitchen. Was using a scraper and heat gun, but with 3 layers of vinyl tile in each room, that wasn't going to get me anywhere. Picked this set up for about $15. Put them on my sawzall, bam, both rooms were done within an hour. Didn't use the small one but used the big one for larger areas and the medium one for near the corners. These are amazing. I would NEVER scrape up tile again without these. Seriously worth it.
Gets the job done pretty fast
Would RecommendThese scrapers are good for old paint and even old carpet glue. To be effective on the glue they had to be sharpened. Do not put a lot of pressure as they can break just like a saw blade can. Adjust the pressure AND the angle until you get the best results.

Spyder Scraper
Would RecommendAwesome tool! remodeling a home where the old sheet rock had been glued to the outerwall studs. Scraper makes quick work of taking of the glue and bits of sheetrock to prep for new. Would highly recommend!
Limber
Would Not RecommendTried scraping 40 year old linoleum flooring, but all scrapers are too flimbsy to keep pressure needed. Works okay if you keep sharpening them. You put too much angle to get good bight and reciprocating saw will jump around with sharp scraper. Keep appendages you are fond of away from work area. Handy tool to have around.
Spyder Scraper
Would Not RecommendAfter reading some of these reviews about them breaking we thought we would try them anyway. They broke very quickly which was disappointing because they seemed like they might do the trick. They didn't last long enough to recommend before they broke off in the saw. We bought the variety pack and both the 4" and 6" broke.
Excellent light duty tool.
Would RecommendGreat for general purpose scraping. Surprisingly durable. Hang on tight to the saw.
Really versatile. Both flexible enough and strong.
Would RecommendI have used these many times. Would like to see a version made with a diamond grinding surface for the leading edge and bottom surface.

Disappointing
Would Not RecommendWhen I saw this product, I thought it would be the answer to my prayers and save me a ton of time scraping old glue off the cement floor. I was totally disappointed in the product as it flexes too much in the reciprocating saw when any pressure is placed on it. I was afraid it would break causing pieces of it to go flying. It basically just skimmed over the glue on the concrete floor. I was having better luck with a putty knife, which is what I ended up using on my hands and nees for a 200sqft p...

Meh
Would Not RecommendI bought these to scrape dried thinset from Hardibacker on the floorfrom a botched tile job. The blades were hard to install and remove from my DeWalt corded reciprocating saw, and the stroke was too long to be useful...too much kickback.
Not for removing tile adhesive
Would Not RecommendI bought these to scrape tile adhesive from subfloor and had several problems. Worst, one of the blades snapped off inside my recip saw after about ten minutes use. Prior to that another blade got bent. Also several times I exceeded the angle of the bevel slightly which causes the saw to kick back hard. Even when taking care not to this was difficult to avoid entirely. This was all to remove 40 sf. About a quarter was taken up. Scraping didnt remove many places. Going to do the rest manually. ...

Spyder Saw Scrapers
Would RecommendThe idea behind these products is genius. They saved me a ton of time and energy when trying to remove linoleum flooring. The paperbacking and adhesive on the ground came up rather quickly once i figured out a good method. I found the 2 inch scraper worked best and to use long straight lines pushing away from me. The only draw back is that blade tends to bend and eventually break at the point where it connects to the reciprocating saw. I had to go back to Lowes and by 3 additional 2 inch scraper...
Long job changes to hard job but quicker.
Would RecommendI bought this to chip the thinset up from ceramic tile I pulled up. It worked good on plywood but if the angle got of it would gouge the floor. All and all was an improvement to my original method of chissle and hammer. It seems to be one of those tools that it is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. I can see me using them for some other projects so I am happy with having them.
Time saver
Would RecommendWe used these to remove laminate flooring after a flood in out area. Worked well for us.
