Worked great until time to change the filter

The filter made a huge difference! Shiny hair, no dry skin, I LOVED it. First filter change was terribly frustrating. Had to walk away several times, cried with anger and defeat, skewed the shower spigot sideways where it’s still stuck, but finally got it done and all was fine. Second filter change was ridiculous, the stupid thing won’t open. Strap wrench, hot water, hairdryer, vinegar soak, vice…it doesn’t budge and I’ve strained all body parts trying.

I think the filter housing is a good housing for the filter.

It helps a lot with chlorine

It seems to really decrease the level of chlorine. I used to get red, burning eyes after showering, and now that isn't the case. It also seems like my skin is less dry and itchy after showering. I wish that it filtered hard water minerals, but for ~$20, it's worth the investment to at least decrease the chlorine.

Squeaky clean feel. Our water was brown every time we turned on the shower. This makes the water feel so clean and smooth. You can finally wash your face in the shower and not break out.
