Ratings & Reviews for Spectracide Wasp, Hornet, Yellow Jacket, and Fly Refill Outdoor Liquid Device Insect Trap

Easy to assemble, helps with the wasp and hornet problem I have in the backyard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this wasp and hornet trap. It was easy to assemble. We have a lot of wasps during the summer and this trap has helped reduce the number up by the house. It holds a lot of the liquid that you had to mix with the yeast. I will continue to buy more refills for it.

Didn’t work

Didn’t catch a single one. We have paper wasps and mud daubers EVERYWHERE in our yard front and back. This trap, as well as other traps I have tried didn’t catch a single one.

Keeps the pests away from the rest!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Spectracide Wasp, hornet and Yellowjacket trap does exactly what the name says. It very easily and conveniently traps those pests for anyone that wants a vector free patio or outdoor area. It’s attractant is not noticeable to me at all but it’s apparent it’s very noticeable to the pests as it draws them to it. Very hassle free, just set trap hang and leave. It does the rest. The low price of this product and great effectiveness make it a mu...

Super easy set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trapped worked really well for me. It’s a reliable trap that started attracting wasp pretty quickly after I set it up. The size is great because it holds a good amount without needing constant attention and is compact enough to place almost anywhere outside without being in the way. Also, like Taso was to dispose, it was no mess.

Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Spectracide Wasp, Hornet & Yellowjacket Trap for a few days now, and honestly it works better than I expected. The setup was very simple — just mix the attractant with water, hang it outside, and wait. Within the first couple of days, I already started seeing bugs trapped inside. What I like most is that it has very little odor compared to other insect traps, and it’s easy to clean and refill. The design is lightweight and...

Design of trap is genius. Poison could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the design of this trap. I put it hanging off the side of my front porch since that seems to be where the wasps like to hang out the most. It caught a few but im going to try it again maybe with a homemade concoction instead of the poison that is made for it.

Perhaps better suited elsewhere

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set up was super simple, only took a few minutes. I liked that it had very little odor and was contained. Unfortunately it didn’t attract any wasps for us on our patio even though this is an area where we normally see them. We did leave it out for a few days and check back before writing the review.

Nice size and not ugly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This great for wherever you like to sit and enjoy the outside. It is good for those pesky flies as well as wasps. I will hang it up high and see how it does. Hopefully this summer we won’t get annoyed by those bugs.

Wasp trap with large capacity and quality construc

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really appreciate that durability and strong build of the spectra side wasp and hornet trap. It has a large capacity and will be really nice to not have wasps test us when we’re sitting on our back porch. It’s too early in the season to know if it’s effective, but I placed it where the wall generally build their nests, and I feel very confident that this will have good results. I also appreciate that it’s refillable and that I can keep using ...
