Ratings & Reviews for Spectracide Wasp, Hornet, Yellow Jacket, and Fly Refill Outdoor Liquid Device Insect Trap

It really works

This product truly works. For a month now I haven't seen any wasp flying around on my front porch like they use too. I di know that it's time ti change the liquid in the container because I have seen a few flying around, but this is after a month since I have had it.

Didn't catch anything

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for free in exchange for a review. I thought this was going to work pretty well but I don't think it trapped any wasps. It's been up for 2 weeks and I think there's only fruit flies and some little beetles but even then, it's not that many.

Great to have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a heavy wasp trap but overall it’s doing the job it needs to do. We put it over our children’s playset where they couldn’t reach it since the wasps and hornets seem to build their nests there. It seems like a neat design without taking too much space. We haven’t removed it yet since it has not been up long enough but the whole set up was easy and expect the removal process to be similar.

Great pest control option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The trap is great! I took two minutes to install comes with all the instructions and parts needed. Its helpful catching wasps, hornets and yellowjacket. Comes with liquid and pouch of the mixture. Its very easy to maintain, catches the pests quickly. Doesn’t have bad odour.

Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is working good so far! we had a bee and wasp problem and this seems to be helping a lot! We put it on our back porch since that’s where it’s the worst!

Great concept that works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to work well, but was a little heavier than expected. I am excited to see how many wasp it will catch. Great concept that lets me control wasp without using spray that comes right back in my face.

No less solution to wasp problem!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been dealing with a wasp infestation near our pool so this product is perfect to handle that problem. No messy sprays to aim and get on everything! This will keep the wasps from bothering us as we enjoy our outdoor space. It was easy to fill and hang, and seems sturdy. I also like how we can refill if needed and don’t have to purchase a whole new setup. I am hopeful that it will eradicate the problem!

I think it’s working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not catch any insects in this trap, but I do feel like it kept them away. We had to work on our pool pump and typically have a lot more stinging insects hanging around. It was easy to mix up and put together.

Lures them in!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had no idea that a year-based trap like this existed. The setup took around two Minutes, and I placed it outside in the 15 foot recommended distance from the patio. I immediately noticed wasps circling around the trap after placing it outside. I love that no harsh chemicals are needed. So far everything seems simple, safe, nontoxic, effective, and and very much needed to enjoy a Texan summer.

Overall great trap!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instructions were very easy to set up. I love that you can reuse this and refill the liquid when it’s done. I made sure to place it somewhere high and not around where you hang out the most. The only downside is that it does not come with a string to hang. I had to use zip ties. The product also works great.

Easy peasy set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We haven’t seen any wasps just yet, but the set up was easy. I switched the lure for a shoe string so I could hang it from a palm tree. I feel like we’re ready for the summer season now to keep those pesky wasps away!

traps the wasp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this attracts and traps the wasps inside to kill them instead of trying to spray or knock them down. We didn’t have anywhere on the porch to hang this but we have our garage often and this is great for keeping unwanted guests out. Instructions are clear and I appreciate that it’s easy to set up.

Spectracide wasp and hornet trap is a must have for summer and captures unwanted wasps and even flies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Influenster and spectracide for the complimentary spectracide wasp and hornet trap. The trap comes with of course a plastic twist top ball like trap, a yeast packet, a black tie strap to hang the trap, the liquid bait that smells like apple cider vinegar, and the packaging that has the simple directions printed on it. Easy to assemble, helps with the wasp and hornet problem I have in the backyard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this wasp and hornet trap. It was easy to assemble. We have a lot of wasps during the summer and this trap has helped reduce the number up by the house. It holds a lot of the liquid that you had to mix with the yeast. I will continue to buy more refills for it.
