Terminate stake success

Easy and inexpensive. I have used Terminate stakes in the past with excellent success- the termites found and fed on the stakes. I’ve read articles in the past about the effectiveness so I gave them a try and have been happy. Much less expensive than having a pest control company put our bait stations.

Staying on top of these little buggers.

I originally had a professional doing $300 a year termite inspection’s. In addition to the price I didn’t like their system of putting strips of wood in the containers and coming out to inspect if they had been eating it and then putting bait in the active ones. Spectracide puts the bait in and as the termites eat the bait they carry it back to the colony. When enough of the bait is gone a spring loaded orange rod pops up to tell you it’s been active and a reminder to replace the bait. This year...

Easy & economical.

Product was easy to install & reasonably priced. Had Terminex for years & they were not easy to deal with & very expensive. Decided to give this system a try. Only time will tell if the product works as it says, but we are hopeful & are glad we are out from under Terminex's terms.

Waste of time and money

Fragile posts with cardboard inside. All of them popped out and pest control guy said this is not going to harm the creatures will just feed them. Not recommend.

Trip on their own

Installed these around my house as directed. A month later one tripped the peg popped up. I pulled it out, took it apart, and inspected. Nothing was eaten, no sings of termites, but the pressed paper spindle that when eaten by a termite/breaks was broken. So I replaced it with a new one an put two more in near it as directed. However, over the last three months I have had 6 more "Pop" and after inspection nothing but the paper spindle had softened/rotted from moisture in the ground and bro...

Horrible

Did not kill a single termite, they just made a home out of these stakes.
