Label vs Specified Gauge
Would RecommendI was a little concerned when I saw the label. Photo attached. The label indicates that it is 16 to 19 gauge. I measured it with a micrometer. It's close. I measured several samples from the two rolls I just picked up. All were within 16 to 15 gauge. It appears to be a good quality stranded copper conductor. I heated it up to see if there were any contaminants or indicators of cheap wire. None were observed. A little drop of flux and the wires soldered very well. I would say it is a good product...
