Would RecommendAlthough tarps come with some holes to use for securing the tarp, these clips provide a way to better secure a tarp if the holes aren't enough.

Would Not RecommendI bought 8 of these to tie down a tarp on mt 12 foot boat. The first snow, the clip pulled off the tarp. The design of the cnap graves were not strong enough To hold. As soon as some stress was pulling against the clip the groves gave way. I would not recommend this to anyone.
Windy days
Would RecommendUsing these clips on a tarp over my boat. I had to use duct tape to keep the tarp from ripping which made it difficult to close. Used a pair of pliers to close the clip and so far so good. The teeth seem to grip well so we shall see how it goes over the winter.
