Would RecommendI have used these in the past occasionally to reinforce a weak fence post. This time the city did work on our street and loosened the mailbox enough that it was supported mainly by the hovering wisteria. The mender restored the post to a stable, upright position with very few blows of a hand held 4 pound sledge, and a few screws. No need to fight the wisteria. Good for another ten years, I think.

Would RecommendI thought this would be a pain to put into place, but with a little help from a 2x4 to be able to hit the notch it slid right where I needed it. It was a bit tricky, however, to find the right screws to secure it. I bought the ones that were recommended, but they did not fit well in the holes provided.

Fast strong rotted fence post repair
Would RecommendThis is an easy and fast way to fix that rotted off fence post. You need a good sledge hammer to drive it in the ground and some good quality 3" screws and a good battery powered screw gun to drive them in.
